From Misshipments to Full Control with RFID
21 oktober / 2026
Misshipments remain a persistent challenge in logistics. When a shipment is loaded onto the wrong truck or fails to reach the right recipient on time, the impact goes beyond direct costs. It can affect operational efficiency, service quality and customer trust.
With RFID and real-time data, logistics operators can detect and prevent errors before they impact the customer.
By automatically scanning and validating shipments during loading, RFID helps ensure that the right shipment is loaded onto the right truck. If something is wrong, it can be identified immediately, enabling operators to act proactively rather than discovering the error after the customer has already been affected.
Visibility beyond shipments
The same need for visibility applies to warehouse and wholesale operations, where high volumes and fast-moving processes increase the risk of errors.
RFID can also support the management of RTIs (Returnable Transport Items) by providing greater visibility into where assets are located. More accurate data supports inventory management, reduces the risk of losses and misplacements, and improves asset accountability across the supply chain.
The result is greater transparency and operational control, with real-time data providing a stronger foundation for better decisions.
See how it works in practice
Christian Hammershøy, Senior Sales Manager, will share concrete examples from Brdr. Dahl and Ahlsell and illustrate how RFID and real-time data can be applied across logistics, wholesale and RTI operations.
Wednesday, 4 November 2026, 13:30–13:50
Join the session to discover how RFID can help move logistics operations from reactive error handling to proactive, data-driven execution.
You can also visit us at stand D02:09 to meet the Lyngsoe team and learn more about how RFID can create greater visibility and control across your logistics operations.
